Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has asked the people not to trouble the people by stopping the vehicles for his vehicle to pass. The chief minister gave instructions to the police officers clarifying this.
Following in the footsteps of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Revanth has decided to give up the ‘zero traffic protocol’ privilege for motoring.
Revanth Reddy also directed to reduce the number of escort vehicles. Revanth Reddy has proposed to reduce the number of vehicles in his fleet from 15 to nine.
‘I want to live among people and interact with them. I won’t be home. To know people’s problems and to solve them will remain among them.
Instead of blocking the vehicles to pass my vehicle, give alternative instructions’- Revanth Reddy asked in the meeting.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting on issues like traffic congestion and asked the police officials to come up with a comprehensive solution.
