‘I was sexually abused when I was seven or eight years old in the fourth grade. . Ganga says that I was sexually harassed by a relative of my father.
I had to tell someone that day. There was a lot of pain. I felt that I should tell someone about the pain.
But I had no one to tell. I was always sad if I had to tell my mother. I was afraid to tell my mother too.
Even though I was in the 4th grade, I thought then that if I say this, it will become a family problem. I told my mother a few days ago when I was not feeling well at all.
It was a shock to the mother. My mother was worried that I did not know what had happened to my child. I have only told this to one of my friends. It was only five to six months ago,’ reveals Ganga.
Ganga also reveals about the mental torture she, mother and sister-in-law suffered from her father.
I’m going through trauma from the past. I sleep with the night light on. Can’t sleep otherwise. Darkness is scary. Because all the bad things in my life have happened in the dark.
I would be scared if someone came close. Glami Ganga says in an interview to Dhanya Varma that even if someone sees a cochin standing there, they feel afraid that he will harm it.
