The ‘Department of Biotechnology’, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, has invited applications from candidates for applying to the ‘DBT Research Associate Fellowship’. The fellowships are being given to candidates completed PhD. Applicants are required to have completed PhD in the subjects, under Science/Engineering. Candidates, who have undertaken PhD in the streams of Biotechnology and Life Science, are preferred over the rest.
DBT mandates the applicants to have good academic background, while the maximum age of applicants should not cross 40 years. Upon selected, candidates would receive a monthly stipend between INR 22,000 and 24,000. There would be a yearly contingency grant of INR 50,000 for selected candidates.
