BlackBerry has made it official that they would be offering cyber security services, through the enterprise ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR). As informed by the BlackBerry officials, the ‘BlackBerry Cybersecurity Consulting’ would mitigate the security threats found in connected devices. Aimed at ensuring better safety for both personal and public domains, the ‘BlackBerry Cebyersecurity Consulting’ would come into effect from May 2018.
The services offered by BlackBerry are going to be applicable for any enterprises, coming under the broad term of ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) of European Union residents. Though the company hasn’t mentioned about rolling out the feature worldwide, BlackBerry officials however added that besides consulting services, they would be offering necessary software solutions.
