UCWeb has launched a new file transfer app for Android devices – UC Share. While launching the app, the company maintained that the app would deliver one of the fastest transfer modes. As was said by the company, the average file transfer speed, which the app offers, would be 5Mbps. That said, it would take 22 seconds for the app to transfer a complete movie. Similar to the existing popular file transfer apps, UC Share could also transfer other apps.
Having facilities like support for low speed data connection, Bluetooth sharing option and QR code generation, the UC Share app can also function as a file manager as well. The file size of the app stand at 1MB and if you count the total space it consumes when installed, is 20MB. The app is compatible across devices running on or above Android 4.0.
