The last some days were quite turbulent in the political map of Kerala, as Jose K Mani group was ousted by the UDF. Though there were several speculations regarding the Jose faction joining hands with LDF, CPI continued raising opposition. However, latest reports suggest that in spite of the opposition from CPI, CPM has managed to enter into an alliance with all allied parties other than the CPI, in order to accommodate Jose K. Mani.

Reports suggest that in the upcoming local body polls, Jose faction would join hands with the left camp. The meeting held at Kottayam District Secretariat has taken a decision regarding the same. As far as pacifying CPI, CPM would conduct divisional level discussions with the leaders. Sources suggest that CPM and Jose faction are conducting a discussion regarding the division of seats in the upcoming polls.
