Set against the backdrop of Wayanad, ‘Chekkan’ film directed by debutant Shafi Eppikkad and produced by Mansoor Ali under the banner of One to One Media has censored with clean ‘U’ certificate. The makers of the film are prepping up for its theatrical release.
The shooting of the film was completed last year, however it got delayed to release due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film stars Vishnu Purushan in the lead role and also stars Nanjiyamma, Vinod Kovur, Tasni Khan, Abu Salim, Ali Arangadath, Athira, Shifana and many others including theater artists.
The song from the movie which starts with ‘Malarkodiye …’ was viewed by more than 4 million viewers on social media.
