CBSE: Mark relaxation for class 10 students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has granted relaxation in the passing marks for class 10 students. Stipulating the passing percentage to be 33 – the board also maintained that candidates need not to score 33 percent marks separately for board exams and internal assessments. Announcing the same, an official notification made it clear that students who appear in class 10 examination for 2018, comes from a different assessment scheme, in comparison to that of the previous year. The difference in scheme, which according to the board, would cause confusion amongst the students.

Well, conducting a public examination for class 10 students after a long gap of seven years, the board has followed the scheme on a one time measure.
