BlackBerry has made it clear that it would remove all the paid apps from its app store. The decision will come into effect from April 1 onwards and BlackBerry has started alerting developers on this regard. Announcing the same through an email, the company has made it clear that BB10 users won’t be required to purchase anything from the app store from April 1 onwards.
Making its intentions of becoming a ‘free only storefront’, the BlackBerry store would also disable all the purchasing mechanisms. Earlier in December 2017, BlackBerry had made it clear that it would continue supporting BB10 at least for the next two years.
