Captain Raju, who has mesmerized with a number of interesting roles, has finally made a permanent exit from the world. The actor, who was aged 68, was survived by his family members. Acted in over 500 movies across different languages, the sudden demise of Captain Raju has given way for mourning across the film fraternity as well as film goers. Though he had undergone a sudden stroke in June earlier this year, later he recovered back to normal condition.
Hailing from Pathanamthitta, Captain Raju started off his filmy career in the year 1981, after quitting from the Indian Army. From the initial phase of the career itself, the actor received mostly villainous roles. Soon then he transformed to comic roles, and his comic timing was well appreciated. Apart from acting in films, he was also seen in some of the TV serials as well. Mammootty starred ‘Masterpiece’ was the last movie of the thespian.
