Kozhikode: BJP leader MT Ramesh reacted to the incident of Ganapati homam in Kozhikode school building. MT Ramesh said that BJP did not organize Ganapati Homam.
BJP has no role, only one or two people are in BJP in that area itself. MT Ramesh says that the management of the school is sympathetic to the Congress.
MT Ramesh also said that there is no mistake in the Ganapati homam. Bhumi Pooja of the new building was held. Management is building itself. MT Ramesh said that there is nothing wrong in performing puja there.
CPIM is deliberately creating unrest. MT Ramesh also responded that CPIM will disturb the ceremonies of other religions.
There was an allegation that the BJP was behind the pooja in the school. It was alleged that the puja was conducted under the leadership of BJP workers. In this situation, BJP leader MT Ramesh came forward with a response.
Homam was organized at Nedumannur School in Kayakodi Panchayat, Kozhikode on Tuesday night. Rudhish, son of the school manager, led the pooja. The homam had to be abandoned mid-way as local CPIM workers protested.
Later, the police came and took the school manager into custody. The manager's arrest was recorded and he was released. The management organized the pooja on the occasion of the completion of the new building of the school.
