Kerala has registered a total of 1,569 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 1,304. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 41,279, while the state’s total active cases have reached 14,094. A total of 26,230 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 56 are from overseas, while 132 came from other states.
The state has registered 1,352 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 86 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 10 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 139.

Right now, 1,55,025 people are under observation, out of which a total of 12,734 are in hospital. Today, a total of 1,479 people have been admitted to hospitals. During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 31,738 samples. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 11,20,935 samples. The results of 9,865 test results are yet to come.
