Kerala has registered a total of 1184 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 784. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 31,505, while the state’s total active cases have reached 12,737. A total of 22,620 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 106 are from overseas, while 73 came from other states.
The state has registered 956 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 114 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 7 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 115.

Right now, 1,49,295 people are under observation, out of which a total of 11,876 are in hospital. Today, a total of 1,278 people have been admitted to hospitals. During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 20,583 samples – a record figure. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 10,00,988 samples. The results of 2,829 test results are yet to come. The state has a total of 524 hotspots right now.
