Amid financial crisis in Kerala, Rs 1.30 crore sanctioned to purchase new cars for ministers

In a desperate state of financial crisis in Kerala, the state government seems to be least bothered when it comes to buying new cars for ministers. On one hand, the state government says there is financial crisis and on the other, they continue to be extravagant.

An amount of Rs 1.30 crore has been sanctioned to acquire new cars for ministers including G R Anil, V N Vasavan, V Abdurahman and chief whip N Jayaraj.

Innova crysta cars are being purchased for these ministers and chief whip. Due to the economic crisis, the government had imposed restrictions on the purchase of new vehicles. Amid this, the money has been sanctioned to buy new cars.

Recently, it was reported that Kerala Finance Minister KN Balagopal requested the Central government to raise the loan limit due to the current situation of the state.
