Jaipur: Immediately after the victory in the Rajasthan Assembly, the BJP MLA ordered the closure of all the restaurants selling meat.
BJP leader Balmukund Acharya who won from Hawa Mahal constituency in Jaipur came out with the controversial order.
His order was to close down all the restaurants selling meat in the streets of the area. The instructional video has gone viral.
‘Can meat be sold openly on the road? Do you support this? All roadside meat stalls should be closed immediately.
I will ask for the report in the evening”, BJP MLA said. Balmukund Acharya told the officials.
A video of Balmukund talking to a restaurant owner in the presence of police officials also went viral on social media.
”Do you have a license? show me! Change this area to Karachi? This is not Karachi, this is our Kashi,” he says amid Jai Shri Ram slogans.

Meanwhile, after the video went viral, AIMIM responded. Chief Asaduddin Owaisi came to the scene. Owaisi said that the order was wrong and asked if anyone could do this.
No one can stop it, he asked, if someone wants to set up a meat stall, how can it be stopped? There is widespread protest over the incident.
RR in Congress Balmukund Acharya won by defeating Tiwari by 600 votes. BJP won 115 seats in Rajasthan. Congress managed to win only 69 seats.
