After Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan had tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday and admitted to Nanavathi hospital for treatment initial reports suggested that other family members were tested negative for Covid. But now its confirmed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya have also tested positive for Covid-19. Meanwhile Amitabh Bachchan’s wife Jaya Bachchan has tested negative for coronavirus. Health Minister Rajesh Tope had confirmed the this new on Twitter, “Smt.Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery.”
On last evening Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan had confirmed on his Twitter, I have tested COVID-19 positive… shifted to hospital… hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited…All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!” Amitabh Bachchan was reportedly said to be stable with mild symptoms and is admitted to the hospital’s isolation unit.
After 30 minutes son Abhishek Bachchan had also posted on twitter that, “Earlier today, both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
Earlier today, BMC santisation workers were at Bachchan’s bungalow Jalsa to sanitise the premises.
