Dev Mohan has managed to get the much needed recognition through ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’. The movie, which was the first Malayalam project to have hit the OTT platform, has turned out to be quite a popular one among the Malayaly film viewers. That said, despite being a debutant, Dev Mohan’s role of Sufi has been well appreciated by everybody. While everyone agreed that he is a handsome hunk, his acting capabilities too were equally appreciated by the movie going public.
However, Dev Mohan maintained that he had never been part of any kind of on stage performances. That said, everyone was stunned to see him in the big screen, as no one expected him to be there. A rather delayed project, Dev Mohan hasn’t mentioned about his presence in ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’, thinking that the movie might not hit big screens. However, upon release, he seems to be on cloud nine and is looking forward to be part of more movies in the future.
Well, ask him what was the biggest deal? Well, what else could have been for someone like Dev, who has never danced before. In order to make it perfect, Dev has had a tough time learning all those Sufi dance movements for the film; nevertheless, over the time, the talented debutant has mastered the art of Sufi dancing and he now can lean around with one finger. As far as sharing screen space with Aditi Rao Hydari and Jayasurya, the debutant seems to have learnt quite a lot of lessons, while thanking them for their support.
