A security officer accidentally fired a shot at the Cliff House, fortunately when Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan left for the Assembly session.
The incident took place this morning around 9.30. Police explained that the gun was accidentally fired while the security guard was cleaning the weapon at the outpost.
No one has been reportedly injured. However an investigation into the matter has been ordered as the Cliff House is the official residence of the Chief Minister and a security zone.
