A Two-year love story goes on to get married in Guruvayur; Groom reaches from Coimbatore by cycling 150 km

In a romantic tale, a groom from Coimbatore rode a bicycle for 150 km and reached Guruvayur on Saturday. Sivasuryan (28), son of Senthil Raman and Jyothimani of Coimbatore Thondamuthur, arrived for the wedding on his bicycle. Five friends along with Siva reached Guruvayur by bicycle.

Anjana, daughter of Sathyan, a native of Panur, Kannur is the bride of Siva. They will tie the knot and return on the same bicycle. The group left Coimbatore at 6:30 am on Saturday. They took a room in Devaswom’s Kausthubam guesthouse.

Ashok Gramalingam, Dinesh Murukesh, Usha Kannan, Manikanda Govindaraj and Nashiked Venkat were the friends who came on the cycle. They are also environmental activists and are engineers in a private company in Gujarat. The bride is a software engineer in Ahmedabad. Two years of love resulted in marriage in Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple.
