Triumph has launched the mid variant of the Tiger 1200 in India. Priced at INR 17 Lakh, the XCX, according to Triumph, is the most advanced range from the Tiger Motorcycles. The updated model is lighter than the previous model by 11kg. Powered by the same 1,215 cc in line three motor, the 2018 Tiger 2018 makes 139bhp at 9,350rpm. The peak torque figure stands at 122Nm at 7,600rpm. It is mated with a six speed manual transmission.
There are a total of six riding modes, while the electrically adjusted windscreen, optional heated grips & seats and 12V power outlets, make the 2018 Triumph Tiger a real competitor against the likes of Ducati Multistrada 1200 and BMW R 1200 GS.
