YouTube set to launch a paid music streaming service

In order to compete with the likes of Spotify and Apple Music, YouTube is all set to launch a paid music streaming service. Reports suggest that YouTube’s paid music streaming service would be out by March. While Warner Music Group is said to be the one on the board, Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group, Merlin too are wielding support to YouTube.

It must be added that Google Play Music and YouTube Music Key haven’t tasted a grand success like that of Spotify, which is now the unquestioned leader in terms of original video products.
