Even before the suicide by a patient under Covid observation to get cognized, the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College has received yet another blow. Nedumangad native Murukesan (38) committed suicide at the Covid ward of the Medical College. It was on Tuesday, which Murukesan was admitted to the Medical College, for showing Covid symptoms. He was found have hanged himself in the isolation ward.
Though he was rushed to ICU, medical team was unable to save him. Earlier on the day, Anad native Unni (33) committed suicide in a similar manner. Reportedly, both were addicted to alcohol, though it is not known, whether it has got any connection with their suicides.
