Reports from auto industry suggest that, Yamaha Motor India is planning to introduce the new YZF – R15 V3.0 during the 2018 Auto Expos. Further claiming, some sources also maintain that Yamaha would introduce YZF – R3 as well during the event. Already launched in the foreign markets, this 3rd generation of R15 is all set to come to an end with its pre launch tests. As far as design is concerned, the new Yamaha YZF – R15 V3.0 has got a similar design like that of YZF – R1. The 155cc liquid – cooled, single cylinder engine is capable of producing 19bhp and 14.7Nm peak torque.
Moving onto YZF – R3, which was earlier discontinued by Yamaha following the BS – IV emission norms, is all set to make a comeback with minor changes. The 321cc parallel twin engine would produce 41bhp and 29.6Nm peak torque. However the major change, which it has incorporated this time, was that of the inclusion of ABS.
