Xiaomi has thus launched Redmi 5 and Redmi F Plus smartphones in China. The devices come with a full display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. While the devices have also got thin bezels placed on top and bottom of the screen, while they comes with a metal unibody design as well as rounded corners. Though announced now, the smartphones will be available in China from December 12 onwards.
Xiaomi Redmi 5, sporting a 5.7 inch HD + screen, has got a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. Powered by Snapdragon 450 processor, which clocked 1.8GHz, it is mated with Adreno 506 GUP. There is a RAM/ROM ratio of 2GB/16GB, while there exists a 3GB/32GB version as well. It is backed by a battery of 3,300mAh power.
As far as Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is concerned with, it comes with a 5.99 Full HD+ screen, while the resolution is 2160 x 1080 pixels. Running on 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 processor, along with Adreno 506 GPU; there comes a 3GB/32GB as well as a 4GB/64GB version with Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. It is essentially backed by a 4,000mAh battery. While Redmi 5 is priced at 799 Yuan and 899 Yuan for the two versions, Redmi 5 Plus is going to be available for 999 Yuan and 1,299 Yuan respectively.
