It is rumored that the first release with this processor will be the Xiaomi 12 Series handsets. Features and designs of the upcoming Shomi 12 are already circulating online. If the latest report is true, the first phone with the Snapdragon 898 processor will be the Xiaomi 12. The popular Chinese tipster digital chat site has revealed that the first phone with Qualcomm’s new chip, the Snapdragon 898, will be the Xiaomi 12. The Xiaomi 118 was the first handset with a Snapdragon 888 chip.
Snapdragon 898’s single and multi-core geekbench test scores have also been released. The first test recorded a 1200 single-core score and a 3900 multi-core score. Qualcomm’s flagship processor is 15 percent faster than the previous SD888. However, there are reports that the performance of the new processor maybe even higher.
The Adreno 730 GPU is equipped with a processor for graphics. Although it was not mentioned in the released screenshots, it is reported that the Snapdragon X65 5G modem chipset will include 10Gbps downlink speeds.
