Xbox One S and One X will get AMD Freesync 2 display support via HDMI

Microsoft announced that game consoles – Xbox One S and One X would now be supporting AMD’s FreeSync display. The tech giant informed that new update will start supporting Xbox One X consoles. With HDR enabled displays, the FreeSync 2 would receive variable refresh rate; along with it comes a support for displays with 1,440 resolution.

Microsoft also has enabled a ‘Game Mode’, which you can use, provided that your TV supports it. It has to be mentioned right herein that the feature works only over HDMI 2.1 standard.
