The second installment of the central government’s assistance for women’s birth accounts has started circulating Rs 500. Funds will be issued by banks on account number basis to cover the issue.
The SBI has prepared a detailed guideline on withdrawals.
Account holders who end up with zero and one digits can withdraw money on Monday.
The money will be paid on May 5th, 2nd May, 4th May, May 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. This amount will be secured in the accounts even if not withdrawn immediately. Banks can withdraw money from branches and ATMs at a social distance.
SBI has asked the customers to avoid maximum remittances at branches. Nearby ATMs can be used for this purpose. There is no charge for withdrawing money from any bank’s ATM.
The first installment of Rs 500 was deposited in the birth accounts of 20.5 crore women.
