The World Intellectual Parent Organization (WIPO) has approved the new camera design, proposed by BlackBerry. Filed two years back, it took all these year for BlackBerry to receive a nod from WIPO. Reportedly, the camera system proposed by BlackBerry would come with a moniker ‘Electronic device and works with a slide out QWERTY.
Placed on the rear side panel, one camera lens would be placed on the sliding QWERTY. BlackBerry called this feature a ‘Conversion Lens’. That said, upon closing the QWERTY, the regular camera could capture images. Reports claimed that BlackBerry would be launching two new smartphones incorporating the feature; both would be available for the market by the second half of 2018.
