Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph movie Neer petition filed in High Court. Writer Deepak Unni has approached the High Court against the film.
In the petition, Deepak alleges that the film has been made by stealing his script.
The storyteller says in the petition that he was forced to buy a copy of his 49-page emotional court drama story while he was with Shanti Mayadevi and director Jeethu Joseph during a meeting held at Kochi Marriott Hotel 3 years ago and later he was removed from the film.
Deepak Unni approached the High Court through Advocate BA Alur.
Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor, the co-producers of Ner movie, have also been made opposing parties in the petition.
The High Court may hear the case tomorrow. Meanwhile, ‘Ner’ is a film directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.
This is the movie where Mohanlal is a lawyer after a long break. Neer is also the fourth film of Jithu Joseph-Mohanlal collaboration.
