Every citizen has the fundamental right to express his opinion. Chitra is a devotee of Lord Rama. I used to sing Ram Padam Cherane Mukunda Rama Pahimam in my childhood evening. It’s ingrained in the culture. So why is there so much objection to chanting the name of Ram and lighting the lamp? The problem is that Sri Rama is seen as belonging to the BJP or the RSS.
Lord Rama belongs to everyone in India. Lord Rama is the hero of Vatmiki’s Ramayana, and Lord Krishna is such a hero. We used to worship such heroes. I don’t understand why everyone is bashing Chitra who made such a comment. You don’t have to agree if you don’t like it. Why are you calling it bad? I am not a spokesperson of any party. I have political opinions but I personally stand with the truth. If Pinarayi does good, he will support it, if Modi does good, he will also support it.
