Thiruvananthapuram: A seven-year-old boy met a tragic end after he stuck his head out of a running auto-rickshaw. The child died after hitting his head on an electric post.

Vaishnav, son of Dipu and Shantikrishna died in Vaishnavathil at Venjaramoodu Thempammoodu Talekun, Thiruvananthapuram.

The incident took place near Munnanakuzhi around 10 am on Sunday. The accident happened when Vaishnam and his mother Shantikrishna were going to their relative’s house in an auto.

Vaishnav stuck his head out while the car the child was traveling in was giving side to another vehicle.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital but died while undergoing treatment. Died Vaishnav is the only son of Deepu Shantikrishna couple.

Vetinad MGM Vaishnav is a first class student in the school. The police have registered a case of unnatural death in the incident.
