Vodafone will soon roll out the 4G VoLTE services, to provide HD quality voice calls over the LTE network. As informed by the officials, the telecom company would start VoLTE operations in India by the month of January. That would make Vodafone the only third telecom operator in the country to offer the service after Jio and Airtel. While Jio had rolled out the service on a countrywide note, Airtel began providing the services on selected circles on the first phase. Well, Vodafone will be following the footsteps of Airtel in offering the VoLTE services on selected circles.
Meanwhile, Idea Cellular too is going to launch similar services, while BSNL is gearing up for launching the 4G services by the month of January on two circles – Kerala and Odisha.
