Vodafone India has launched the VoLTE service in Kolkata, and turned out to be the 13th circle from Vodafone India to have VoLTE service in the country. Vodafone, which is the second biggest carrier in India, is preparing to expand the 4G network across the country. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio happens to be the only carrier in India to have 4G service across the nation.
Meanwhile, the coming months will see Vodafone India merging with Idea Cellular, in a deal, which would create the biggest carrier in the country. The merging of these two carriers, would ensure that their existing 2G – 3G networks becoming free.
