Soon after announcing their second venture together, JGM – filmmaker Puri Jagannath, “Arjun Reddy” star Vijay Deverakonda and the team of the film met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Delhi on Wednesday.
The film has been produced by Charmme Kaur along with Vamshi Paidipally producer of Srikara Studio and Singa Rao, the director of Srikara Studio. Written and directed by Puri Jagannath, the film titled ‘Jana Gana Mana’ will hit the theatres on August 3, 2023 worldwide.

In the pictures we can see the whole team of JGM interacting with the Defence Minister and one picture shows Rajnath Singh in conversation with Vijay as well.
During a press conference announcing the film, JGM, director Jagannadh described the project as “a patriotic film” and his dream project. “I have been waiting for a chance to make it for many years and finally it is happening because of Vijay. It is a fictional story, it is patriotic war movie. It is a soldier’s dream,” the filmmaker added.
Meanwhile, Vijay and Puri’s maiden collaboration ‘Liger’ is under post-production. The film revolves around an Indian MMA fighter taking on other foreign fighters.
