Mohanlal’s movie ‘Marakkar Arabikkadalinte Simham’ will be released in theaters. The film is reported to hit theaters on December 2. The movie is coming to the theatrical release after a long controversy. It is learned that the film will be released in theaters without any conditions. Minister Saji Cherian said in a meeting with producer Antony Perumbavoor and leaders of the Producers’ Association that Marakkar will be released in theaters. The release date of the film has been announced by the Minister himself.

Minister Saji Cherian told the media that although the financial cost of making Marakkar films brought Antony Perumbavoor into talks with OTT platforms, he has made a big compromise considering the survival of Malayalam cinema and the need to sustain the lives of tens of thousands of people working in the film industry.

The preview of the film was held in Chennai last day. The preview was conducted in front of invited guests. Everyone who casts their eyes upon it, wants a go. In addition, the film is slated for a theatrical release in December as theaters in the state are likely to have 100 per cent seating capacity from December. Earlier, it was decided to release the film through Amazon Prime. But the information is that it has not been signed as a contract.
