Triple Lockdown exerted in Thiruvananthapuram: All roads to the city will be closed

The State Police Chief Loknath Behra made an (un)expected announced that Thiruvananthapuram will be under Triple Lockdown for a week, starting from Monday. That means, starting from 6 am tomorrow, all roads leading to the city will be completely closed. The police chief also informed that no traffic would be allowed on any road within the city.

Under the corporation premise, only hospitals, medical shops and grocery stores will be allowed to remain open for the next week. That said, even government offices and institutions including the Secretariat would remain closed during this period.

Police will be deployed on duty in all important places and roads in the city; they will also take all the necessary safety precautions. For any kind of assistance, public can contact the following phone numbers.
