Kannur: ‘E Bull Jet’ YouTube channel owners arrested in Kannur. Brothers Ebin and Libin were arrested by the Kannur Town Police. Police have registered a case against them for trespassing in the RTO office, threatening the officers, and obstructing the work. The Department of Motor Vehicles yesterday confiscated the vehicle of ‘E Bull Jet’ YouTubers for altering and failing to pay taxes. Following this, Kannur R.T. Officials complained that the two men who arrived at the office were abducted and interrupted at work.
The YouTubers who came to the office also streamed a Facebook live video from the office. Knowing this, many young people & E bull jet fans gathered around the office premises. According to the Department of Motor Vehicles, a fine of around Rs 42,000 will be levied for illegal alterations. Authorities said the vehicle had been modified to pose a threat to other vehicles on the road.
According to the Kannur RTO, a fine of Rs 6,400 will be levied for the modification of the vehicle and a fine of around Rs 42,000 will be levied for the illegal modification. The owners of the e-Buljet said in a YouTube video that the officers had seized it. The vehicle was later released after giving an explanation about the tax, but the next day the vehicle was seized again, according to the video.
According to MVD, the vehicle is equipped with lights and horns that pose a threat to other vehicles on the road. However, e-Bullet claims that this is a vehicle that travels across the country and that it has all the headlights on.
