TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) stated that telecom operators were asked to give satisfying comments call drops by this week. TRAI officials informed that telecom operators were given showcause notices for their failure to meet the standards of quality norms. Underlining the same, TRAI chairman RS Sharma would soon come up with the names of such telecom operators if their response wasn’t satisfying enough.
Earlier TRAI has issued a new formula regarding the call drop norms. The new benchmark came into effect from October 1, 2017.
