Toyota has overtaken Honda in terms of the 2018 April sales report. Started off the year on an extremely positive note, Toyota has managed to sell 13,037 units in April. The figure is 5.64 percent higher than that of the one recorded by the company in the previous year. The strong performance of Toyota was mainly due to the overwhelming response, which models like Etios Liva, Innova and Fortuner has received. On the other hand, Honda has had a weak April, with the company managing to sell 9,595 units in the month, as against the 2017 April figure of 14,922.
Both the companies are preparing to launch various models in this May. While Toyota will bring Yaris to the market in May, Honda would be hitting with the model Amaze.
