Video sharing app TikTok is the most downloaded mobile app in the world in 2019. TikTok is just behind Facebook, while WhatsApp tops the list. TikTok and its Chinese version, Douyin App has downloaded over 74 million users. The rank list was released by market analyst Sensor Tower. This is the number of downloads on Google Playstore, Apple and iPad globally. This does not include data from third party app stores.
In 2018, 65.5 crore downloaded Tik Tok with a growth of 13%. With the advent of ad distribution through TikTok, there has been a surge in revenues. With a whopping 44 percent most of the users of Tik Tok are Indians.
