Marked with the presence of an immensely satisfied crowd, this year’s Thrissur Pooram has come to an end. Despite the initial hiccups, the day saw all the controversies being subdued by the superior energy of people, who flocked to witness the great event. Touted to be the biggest musical event in the world, Thrissur Pooram saw Peruvanam Kuttan Marar heading the ‘Ilanjithara Melam’. However, during the course of the event, Kuttan Marar was hospitalized, after he experienced some physical difficulties.
The ‘Kudamaatam’ (Changing umbrellas) and an equally fervent show by the elephants from both the sides of Paramekkavu and Thiruvambadi added more flavors to the final day of Thrissur Pooram.
