Three women prisoners have tried to escape from Kakkanad jail. The vain attempt, ended up with all the three being chased down by the prison officials. The prisoners, who tried to escape are identified as – Raheena, Sheeba and Indu. All of them were accused in the cases of fraudulent activities. Though the incident occurred at Kakkanad Jail on Thursday, it was only today that the details reached the press.
According to the reports from Kakkanad, the trio was trying to run away from the prison staff’s eye, as they were brought in to dispose of the waste. However, the prison staff managed to chase them down. It was the collective effort from the Kakkanad District Jail officials, along with the Central Jail officials, which managed to chase them down.
Soon after the trio getting caught, a case has been booked against the three women prisoners at Infopark Station. The case was filed against the women inmages, following a complaint filed by the jail authorities.
