Three more Covid deaths in Kerala; a total of 47 deaths till date

Kerala has registered three more Covid deaths. The deceased have been identified as Rahiyanath (55), a resident of Kulasekharapuram, Karunagapally, Hyrunnisa (48), a resident of Kasargode and Koyotti (57), a resident of Kallayi, Kozhikode. Rahiyanath, who hails from Karunagapally, collapsed at her home yesterday. Upon testing the secretion, she was tested positive for Covid.

Soon the, four of her relatives – one being Rahiyanath’s son – too were confirmed positive for Covid. Hyrunnisa, a native of Kasargod, was undergoing treatment at Pariyaram Medical College, and she died on Wednesday morning. On the other hand, Koyotti, hailing from Kallayi, had been admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital on 19th July. It was on 16th July, that she had undergone the sap test, as she was suffering from fever and sore throat. Koyotti had the history of diseases related to heart and was also a diabetes patient as well. Around 5:30 AM, today, she her death was confirmed. With this, the total number of Covid deaths in Kerala has reached 47.
