Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor gave an explanation on Sri Rama Pratishtha Facebook post. Shashi Tharoor explains that there is nothing wrong in sharing the Sri Rama Pratishtha on social media. Tharoor responded that he will not give up the God he believes in to the BJP.
Shashi Tharoor had shared the picture of Ram Lalla who performed Pratishta in Ayodhya on the Ayodhya Ram Temple Pratishta Day. But the post was criticized.
Ministers Mohammad Riaz and GR Anil criticized Tharoor’s FB post. Minister Muhammad Riaz alleged that Tharoor’s position was to unite with the BJP ideology.
In a Facebook post, Minister G R Anil criticized Tharoor as a leader who follows an extreme Hindutva stance. The minister accused Tharoor’s stance of being an insult to secular Kerala.
Meanwhile, Tharoor, who had arrived at Thiruvananthapuram Government Law College, was shouted at by SFI workers.
