There is no such thing as safe drinking, even a drop can be harmful – WHO

The World Health Organization says there is no such thing as safe drinking that is not harmful to health. The World Health Organization stated that the risk of cancer also increases with the increase in the use of alcohol. According to the organization, 200 million people in Europe are at risk of cancer due to excessive alcohol consumption. A report on this has been published in Lancet Public Health.

Even low to moderate alcohol consumption has increased the risk of cancer in the European region, according to the report. The World Health Organization says that consuming less than 1.5 liters of wine, less than 3.5 liters of beer, or even less than 450 milliliters per week is harmful to health.

Alcohol causes about seven cancers such as colon cancer and breast cancer. Ethanol in the body can disrupt many functions and cause cancer. Any alcoholic drink increases the risk of cancer – World Health Organization.

The World Health Organization also states that there is sufficient scientific evidence to prove that the use of alcohol does not cause health problems.

The same cannot be said about the safe use of alcohol. It’s not how much you drink, it’s the first drop of any alcoholic drink that starts causing health problems for the alcoholic. The World Health Organization also states that the more you drink, the more dangerous it is, and the less you drink, the safer it is.

A similar finding was previously published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, a journal of the American Association for Cancer Research. This has been clarified in a study based on the topic of alcohol consumption and cancer risk. All alcoholic drinks, including wine, increase the risk of cancer, the study said. The study stated that most of the people are not aware of this or think that alcohol is beneficial.

The study also shared that alcohol containing ethanol, including beer and wine, increases the risk of cancer. The study was based on a government survey of 3,800 people. The researchers shared that alcohol consumption is one of the main causes of cancer, yet it is an issue that many people do not know about. The aim of the study was to examine people’s awareness of the relationship between alcohol consumption and cancer risk.
