Then the principal took the mic and bought it. Don't insult an artist like this.

Singer and music director Jazzy Gift said that the incident in which the principal grabbed the mic while singing at Kolanchery St. Peter's College was a matter of discussion. Jazzy Gift responded that no artist should be insulted like this. It is common to get people to sing the chorus with the singer. But without looking at this, the principal took the mic from his hand. He also asked to get rid of the person who came to sing with him. Jazzy Gift added, “It's insulting as a contemporary.”

The college principal is justifying his action. The principal of St. Peter's College, Colanchery, says that there are restrictions on conducting a music night inside the college by outsiders and he only took the mic and said this. Jassi Gift was the chief guest at the College Day program at St. Peter's College, Kolanchery. While singing, the principal held the mic and took the stance that only Jazzy Gift, the opener, was allowed to sing. Jazzy Gift left the stage protesting the principal's action.
