Governor Arif Muhammad Khan reiterated that the SFI protest was on the instructions of the Chief Minister. The governor alleged that when the protesters surrounded the car, the police stood as spectators, the police did not push back the protesters and there was pressure on the police. He said that he had instructed the DGP and the Chief Secretary to charge the attackers with serious charges. The governor said that the protesters were brought in a police vehicle and they were taken back in the same vehicle. He said that he got out when he reached to break the window of his vehicle. The governor said that they tried to break the window of the vehicle by hitting it with a stick tied with a flag. It was released when there were similar protests three times that the window would have broken if it was a normal vehicle and the window did not break because his vehicle had special facilities.
Arif Mohammad Khan said that the ministers were saying that he wanted to be attacked while sitting inside the vehicle and they should tell who leaked the route of his vehicle. The cases taken against those who attacked him are not enough, the DGP and the Chief Secretary have been instructed to take a case against the attackers under serious sections. The governor also said that similar measures are being taken against the Chief Minister in serious departments. After returning from Delhi on the 16th, he will participate in the Kozhikode event.
