Health workers and patients arriving at hospitals are advised to use masks. The proposal was made in a high-level meeting chaired by the Health Minister.
Although the mask is not mandatory, it is recommended to use it as a precaution and to prevent the spread of the disease. At the same time, the high-level meeting assessed that the spread of Kovid disease is under control.
The meeting clarified that there is no need for unnecessary fear and there is no need for strict restrictions. The meeting also instructed to ensure adequate isolation and ICU beds.
Increase in cases It was suggested in the meeting that there is an increase in Kovid cases in Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram districts and special attention is needed here.
