The news that is circulating is completely baseless! I have not faced any mental or physical abuse

An interview given by Mamita Baiju to a Malayalam media related to the promotion of the film came to the Tamil film world in a completely different form. During the promotion of Premalu, the presenter asked questions about the film Vanankan starring Mamita. The biggest mistake was that Namitha was a bit careless when she commented on a highly controversial film in Tamil. While reacting about the withdrawn film, Mamita was talking about how the director taught her acting. During the shooting of the film, Bala sir used to beat her a little and fight. But that was to make the shot better. In the interview, Mamita also says that this is how he treats everyone, so he said that there is no need to get tense.

He didn't have much mental pressure and acted cool. Surya Sir was there. Mamita spoke very naturally about things like she already knew Bala sir so there was no problem. But when it came to Tamil, the story changed completely. Things turned out to be that Mamita Baiju Vanankanan left the film because director Bala slapped her. Moreover, when he told everyone that this is how the director behaved, the news spread in a different way. There is another reason for such a news to spread in Tamil. The film Vanankanan is currently preparing for its release after passing through major crisis phases. This was the first movie that announced Suriya as the hero. After the films Nanda and Pitamagan, the news of Suriya and Bala teaming up was a big celebration. The film was to be produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.

But three months into the shoot, it had to be shelved. The reason was differences of opinion between Surya and Bala. After that there were reports that the film was abandoned. The director later announced that Suriya and 2D Entertainment had nothing to do with the film and completed the film with Arun Vijay as the lead. A few days ago, the teaser of the film also came out. Mamita's interview comes in the context of this controversy saying that the director beat her to act. With that, the news was spreading in many ways. Now, Mamita has come to Instagram with an explanation on the matter. Mamita clarifies that the news circulating in Tamil on her behalf is completely baseless. The actress reiterated that she did not face any mental or physical harassment apart from Bala sir trying to bring out the best in her actor. Mamita also stated that the reason for leaving the film Vanankanan was due to other professional commitments.
