The life story of Lord Rama will be taught in madrasas; Chairman, Uttarakhand Waqf Board

The Chairman of the Waqf Board stated that the revised syllabus based on the guidelines of the Uttarakhand Education Board will be introduced in the madrasas affiliated to the Uttarakhand Waqf Board from March.

Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams said that the new curriculum will be implemented in the session starting in March this year, news agency PTI reported.

The values ​​represented by Lord Rama should be followed by all irrespective of their religion or creed.

The Chairman of the Waqf Board said that the life story of Lord Ram along with the life of Prophet Muhammad will be taught to the students of the madrasa.

Dr. NCERT Syllabus will be taught in modern Madrasahs named after APJ Abdul Kalam.

Waqf Board has 117 madrasas in Uttarakhand. The remaining 415 madrasas come under the Madrasa Board.
